MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT – Nocton and Digby
NOCTON - Monday and Friday only - Permanent
DIGBY – Monday to Friday – Permanent
NOCTON, DUNSTON AND DIGBY – Relief Cover (ad hoc additional cover)
Nocton Community Primary School – 1 hour 10 minutes per day (11.50am – 1pm) Monday and Fridays (2 hours 20 minutes per week)
Digby Church of England Primary School – 1 hour 15 minutes per day (11.45am to 1pm) Monday to Friday (6 hours 15 mins per week )
Term time only – 38 weeks per academic year
Pay Grade G2 (approx. Gross £1,123 for 2 days) (approx. Gross £3,013 for 5 days)
Required From – June 2026

All of our schools are small, friendly and successful village schools. We have a caring ethos and work closely with our local communities. The schools have a supportive and friendly staff team, with well-behaved children.
The schools in the Spires Federation work closely together, which bring opportunities throughout all of our schools. There is a possibility that you may be expected to conduct some duties, on occasion, at another site.
Do you have the necessary skills to work well as part of a team, working with our polite, well behaved children whilst they eat their lunch and then to supervise and interact with them during lunchtime play?
You would be expected to serve hot food, supervise packed lunches, help in encouraging children to eat well and learn how to be independent in the lunch room. The role will also include outdoor supervision and play interaction on a rota system. The role would also involve preparing the room and cleaning up following lunchtime.
