Exciting opportunity within the new Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority

The GLCCA is looking for an interim Strategic Housing Officer. This is a great opportunity to help shape the future direction of local housing strategy.

We are offering this as a full-time post on a fixed-term basis from the summer of 2025 for 12 months, to support the creation of the new authority, its progress in the first year and the work of the elected Mayor.

The role will work with the lead officer for Infrastructure and Economic Vision, Halina Davies, and will lead on:

• our work to influence the decisions and national policy made about housing in Greater Lincolnshire
• housing strategy, policy, and performance for the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority. 

The role will need strong influencing skills, excellent abilities in building and using evidence and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate to find solutions.  The post holder will work closely with Local Authorities and stakeholders.

For external candidates, this role is offered as a fixed-term contract. For internal candidates (within Greater Lincolnshire authorities), it is available as a secondment opportunity.
